Officer Sacca has been with the Fresno Police Department for 27-years and came to us as a Firefighter/EMT from the city of Clovis.  As a police officer, Officer Sacca quickly started to amass knowledge and experience through a variety of special assignments to include, Neighborhood Policing Unit, District Crime Suppression Team and the School Resource Officer Unit.  Officer Sacca found his passion while assigned to the Motor Unit.  Always having a love for automobiles and motorcycles, Officer Sacca enjoyed a long and successful career while assigned to the Motor Unit.  Committed to imparting the knowledge and skills he had learned throughout his career, Officer Sacca was selected to our Instructor Cadre and has become our primary instructor in all vehicle-related training.  In addition to being the lead instructor for PSP EVOC, PIT, PIT Instructor, Driver Training Instructor, and is also our lead instructor for First Aid and CPR.  While that class load is a full-time job, Officer Sacca is also responsible for our entire fleet of over 50 training vehicles at the Regional Training Center; ensuring they are operable, clean, and full of gas.  Officer Sacca and his team even change every tire on our fleet ensuring our vehicles are safe for our students and our allied agency partners who rent the vehicles and the EVOC course.
