Officer Jauregui is a 22-year veteran officer of the Fresno Police Department, who has held positions on some of the most highly sought out special units the Fresno Police Department has to offer. Prior to be selected to the Instructor Cadre at the Regional Training Center, Officer Jauregui worked in the undercover surveillance unit, district tactical teams, gang unit, and the Sexual Assault Unit. Officer Jauregui has been an instructor at the Regional Training Center for over 9-years and has been lead instructor in nearly every class we offer which makes him an essential part of our cadre as he can step in to any class when we have instructor unavailability. Currently, Officer Jauregui is the lead instructor in firearms, tactical-team related courses such as search warrant execution, Arrest & Control, Driver Instructor courses, and less lethal options. In addition to his primary duties, Officer Jauregui currently serves on the departments S.W.A.T. as a Senior Operator.
