Officer Ricablanca has been with the Fresno Police Department for nearly 9-years. Officer Ricablanca was selected to the Training Unit as an Instructor after earning an esteemed reputation as a Corporal/Field Training Officer, successfully training and releasing over 20 Recruits to the field. Prior to his time as a Corporal/Field Training Officer, Officer Ricablanca was assigned to the Motor Unit where he worked at nighttime on a motorcycle conducting high visibility proactive patrol. Officer Ricablanca holds several POST certified Instructor certificates and is our lead instructor for the Domestic Violence Update class. He also assists in nearly every other class, to include our vehicle operations classes, arrest & control, as well as all firearms courses. In addition to his primary duties as an Instructor, Officer Ricablanca is also assigned to the departments S.W.A.T. team as an operator.
