Officer Keith Dooms is a 25-year veteran of the Fresno Police Department with a vast amount of knowledge and experience related to firearms and tactics. Prior to becoming a Police Officer with the City of Fresno, Officer Dooms served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years. As a Police Officer, Officer Dooms was assigned to District Tactical Teams and various Detective Units and spent much of his career in an undercover/apprehension unit that focused on violent criminals and gang members. Officer Dooms has been a Rangemaster and Armorer assigned to the Training Unit for 5 years and holds an Armorer’s certification for nearly every law enforcement weapon platform. In addition to his duties as a Rangemaster/Armorer at the Regional Training Center, Officer Dooms serves on the department’s collateral E.O.D. Unit as a bomb Technician.
