Brandi Phebus has been a sworn officer for 21 years and has been assigned to the Training Unit as the Logistics Sergeant for two years.  Sgt Phebus has served as a Police Sergeant for the Fresno Police Department for over 9 years.  Previously, Sergeant Phebus supervised the Northwest District Investigations Team, Workers Compensation Unit, and a Patrol Sergeant.  Prior to her promotion, Sgt Phebus served as a Detective in the Commercial Robbery Unit within the Street Violence Bureau, Residential Burglary Detective in the Northeast Policing District, and a tactical team member assigned to the Southwest District Crime Suppression Team.  Sgt Phebus’ duties as the Logistics Sergeant for the Regional Training Center include maintaining and scheduling of the entire POST mandated training as well as additional training classes, supervising Instructors and Professional Staff members, development of POST classes, CA POST Liaison and Training Manager.  Sgt Phebus is also responsible for preparing contracts with outside agencies as well as building relationships with outside training vendors to host new and innovative law enforcement classes at the Training Center that benefit not only the officers of the Fresno Police Department, but all our allied agencies in the region.
